One year passed since the the first time I thought about leaving DA... nothing really changed in the main thing actually, I still would like to leave this place, but you know, for some of us it's just like a curse... we hate DA but we can't leave it, no matter how hard we try...

One year passed and I can say I made some relevant improvement in my art.. This doesn't matter for the DeaviantArt life of course, we all know that here improvements are for losers... but to me improvements are very important, and yeah, we can say that one years ago I barely knew how to draw and use photoshop >__>...
Then I got kicked in the ass by someone who was a perfect stranger to me.. he helped me taking the right way... I'm not arrived yet, I don't think I'll ever arrive, but at least I am on the right way.. or maybe on a way near the right one, but it's the same u__u'''...

Many other things happened in this DA year, good things and bad things... I met a lot of new people that keep being with me everything I do, and I really love them, I'm sure they're one of the few real reasons that still keeps me here.. they made me happy with every single comment left on my page, they really make me think that my art is loved.. this was one of the good thing of course XD

ok, if you're still reading and keep wondering what's the main point of this journal I shall warn you: there's no main point.
I'm just writing something I have in my mind... and I'm failing, because writing in english what I can barely understand when I think in italian it's too hard for me >_>...

talking about other silly things, I was very surprised when I discovered that my Tower deviaiton has almost reached 300 favs.. °.°.. I mean... it's not a fanart/cute/kawaii thing, so... how could be?? I like to think it's the demonstrations that hard works pay. But I have another side of me that keeps telling that Rhistel looks too much like Snape in that picture...

And, you know what really makes an original artist happy? Ok, I won't generalize...
You know what really makes me happy?
It really makes me happy when people call my characters by their names..
ok, it could sound stupid, but it really makes me go "weeeeeeehhh!!!! " because it could mean two important things:
- they read the description of the pic. Plain and simple, but still awesome that someone read my description so carefully that he can tell what's the character name!
- they know my characters. And this is even more awesome, because that means that they remember my characters! And in some particular case, it even means that they like them!
Now, few of you may have noticed I rarely draw something that is not related to my own or other specific characters... I don't do "random fantasy art" unless I am forced to...
My art is always strongly connected to the subject I depict, if this rule is not applied it means that probably I don't like the picture so much, even if is my best piece of art...
Once I said that, it's easy (?) to understand why I'm so happy when people recognize my subjects and their behavior in the art itself..
getting comments on how well you drawn a pic is awesome, but getting comments that say how well you depicted the character in the pic is more than awesome!
I'm talking for myself of course...

and while writing, I noticed that it's almost 8 pm and I have only 15 minutes to wash my hair, dress myself like a good girl and try not to look like a monster from a zombie movie...
