Today I felt the need to take a break from the commission pictures I'm working on lately, so I doodled this while watching TV and lazing on the couch.

Sywyn and Rhistel...
While it's true that the two of them don't really get along, an almost unknown fact is that, as time passes, Sywyn becomes the closest thing to a father figure Rhistel ever had since leaving the orphanage.
Not because he's that nice or anything of course, but mostly because, while Elyon is completely subjugated by Rhistel (even if she doesn't even notice) and Cat mostly tends to second him in almost everything he says and does, in some cases Sywyn is the only one with the right amount of authoritarian behaviour needed to keep the boy quiet...
No need to add that the elf always looked at him as if he was just a child (mostly because Rhistel IS a child :°D especially compared to him)
So Rhistel, who initially only hired the elf because of his warrior skills, ends up respecting and listening to him, entrusting him with even more than his own safety and life... in the mistaken belief that money could really bind the hireling to him, no matter what...
