well, I don't know vectors at all, but it seems that most of the vector images are based on non vector pictures :shrug:
I was referring mostly to drawings/paintings works... and I don't think it's your case :XD:

...tracing is so horribly boring and uncreative; I'm even too annoyed usually to trace my own stuff for a cleaner lineart 8D;;;

ah I have to trace tattoo designs all day but I guess that doesnt count :giggle:
even if I trace my own linework, it always looks worse. I dont understand how people can trace stuff and say its refrenced. I wouldnt have even thought that people would do it!
