Traditional Art / Mixed Media / Fantasy

First picture of a small project of two illustrations: the first one for now.

Even though I totally accomplished the goal I was aiming to, I still feel a little sad for having to spoil her with the paint ^__^''

Coloured pencils, red and white acrylic paint, gold ecoline
Some paper tissues were harmed in the making of this picture.

How do you manage to get the coloured pencils marking to look so... blended? I have tried pencils before and it always looks like crap. I really love the way you add tattoos to everything. It's very exotic, and I like they all seem to be elves.
