"The bastard ain't dead yet," one of the guards said, "but crows just don't care bout it, I s'pose."

Apart from the character and the lovely interpretation of him, I simply adore what you did with the background, making a framing pattern in an advanced style, with with a childish, quick hand, creating a rough but balanced look. I don't think I have seen anything quite like it. You go, girl!
