You sketch, I draw - preliminary making of

Sooo, few of you may remember that last year I organized a sort of collaborative project called "You Sketch, I draw", in which I basically asked people to make a sketch of their choice for me to complete as an illustration...
NINE MONTHS LATER, I'm finally ready to show you my pick among all the sketches presented, which is the one done by , featuring her characters Derek and Kayleen from her novel "Blood and Gunpowder".

I actually choose the winner sketch right after the end of the project, but never really got around to start working on it until now, and I'm kinda glad I waited, since I don't know what I could have done of it last year :°°DD... but since I decided I really need to improve my perspective and backgrounds, now this is really perfect to practice with!
